- I am a proud mother of three grown children, two in college and one Marine. My husband is a trauma ICU nurse. We bought a home in the beautiful Treasure Valley to get away from California. I know what it's like not to have freedom and I don’t want California’s politics in Idaho. I have been an RN for nine years with a focus on home health, palliative and hospice care, and case management. I hold a Bachelor of Psychology and have worked for a youth and family program. This experience gave me the opportunity to advocate for children in foster care, their biological parents/family, state assigned social workers, and foster parents. My work experience in nursing and social work has matured my experience in teaching, organizing, documenting, and observing families; to assist in providing healthy solutions and advocacy to children, patients, and their families in emotionally difficult situations.
- I am running for School Board Trustee Zone 3 for the city of Nampa, Idaho. My mission is to fight and be an advocate for parents, supporting their role as the primary authority over their children. I believe strongly in Godly principles and upholding our Constitution. The government should act as an instrument for the voices of the people. Its powers should remain inferior to the rights, personal beliefs, and choices of the people. There should be Freedom & Liberty for all.
- I have a servant's heart. I strive to remain humble, open to learning and listening. I have a strong passion to be a light of truth through seeking and sharing truth. My goal is to fight for the freedoms of parents, children, and their individual voices. I love people and see that our little ones are under attack. We must remain as courageous and bold as a lion, but remain humble without selfish pride- bringing unity, not division. Divided we fall, but united we stand. As Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?”
- I believe God created each one of us in His own image. I do not evaluate people by color, but by their character. Schools should not be teaching our children to judge people based on race. I’m disheartened to see schools teaching our children that the color of your skin determines if you're an oppressor or oppressed. I also support parent choice, not mandates. Gender confusion needs to be stopped. There are only two genders, female and male, no in-between- that is science.
I’m running to uphold and reflect the voices of parents regarding their children within the school system. -Tracey Pearson
